Birthday Sale Coming Up!

Would you believe it if I said that this year Scalliwag Toys is turning twenty-five?

Well, it's true -- even if you were going to say that we don't look a day over twenty. Scalliwag Toys opened its doors for the first time in the Spring of 1985 (and we're still chugging along, which calls for a celebration all of its own). So, this year, we are having a 25th Birthday Sale, running from Thursday 29 April to Saturday 1 May, 2010. The hours will be as follows:

• Thursday 29 April 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Friday 30 April 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday 1 May 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Everything in the store will be on sale, with scheduled discounts up to 40% -- though there may be some items slashed even more, since over 25 years we've accumulated quite a few end-of-lines and bits-and-pieces that we'd like to see go to good homes.

There will also be a draw for prizes, the nuts-and-bolts of which we'll announce next week, though I think it's safe to say that the grand prize will be a huge stuffed animal such as Rex (left), whose value is about $250.00.
